Mike made a flying visit back to the UK for the Practical Classics Restoration and Classic Car Show where over 20,000 car enthusiasts were waiting for two-days of motoring mayhem.
As well as revealing the latest t-shirt with his TV partner Edd China, Mike also had his freshly restored Camaro on static display so everyone could get a good look at it.
Mike and Edd joined Practical Classics editor Danny Hopkins on the PC Live Stage where they shared a first look at the 1916 Cadillac they duo are rebuilding for the Peking to Paris Rally later in the year.
The Wheeler Dealers were joined by Car SOS’ Fuzz Townshend, For the Love of Cars’ Ant Anstead, the original Stig Perry McCarthy, and BBC Radio 2 travel reporter Bobbie Prior over the weekend so there was plenty of car related banter.
With 700 cars on display, in all states of repair – from barn find to concours – there was plenty of inspiration for enthusiasts as well as hands on advice during the many Q&A sessions where fans got to ask Mike and Edd for their expert hints and tips.
The fellas were even spotted browsing the UK’s biggest Barn Find display looking at the vintage cars on offer before visiting the Veteran Car Club of GB.
Mike will be back at the NEC from 11-13 November 2016. See www.necclassicmotorshow.com for more details
